This study was performed to confirm the pulsing effects of fungicides on bentneck inhibition of cut Rosa hybrida L. ¢¥Mary de Vor¢¥ and ¢¥Norena¢¥. Concentrations of fungicides, metalaxyl, myclobutanil, tritlumizole, and vinclozolin were 100, 120, 200 and 200 §·¡¤L^(-1), respectively. These fungicides were all effective for the bent-neck inhibition in second bud stage of ¢¥Norena¢¥. The pulsing treatment with fungicides for 4hr increased flower diameter, fresh weight and water uptake, and it prolonged vaselife, too. The percentage of bent-neck occurrence was different according to the cultivar and bud stage. In ¢¥Mary de Vor¢¥, the percentage of bent-neck was higher in young bud than old bud, but in ¢¥Norena¢¥ bent-neck occurred excessively in all bud-developing stages. Bent-neck of cut roses ¢¥Mary de Vor¢¥ and ¢¥Norena¢¥ was effectively inhibited by fungicides, especially with 120 §·¡¤L^(-1) myclobutanil pulsing for 4hr, in second bud stage.
